Hey, thanks for the quick reply. Now my Kangoo scares me even more! I'll take it to the garage tomorrow. But do you happen to remember how much you paid for the repair? And have you had any problems with your Renault since then? I mean, was there anything else that came up unexpectedly? Kerbs always worry me. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

Hey, don't stress, these things happen. Once the mechanics had checked the engine and replaced the wrong engine oil, the problem with the low engine oil pressure was solved. And to answer your question about the cost: the bill was €175. It wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth it, because since then my Kangoo has been in tip-top shape again. No further problems have arisen. So, hang in there, buddy! And always be careful with the kerbs. Hope this helps you!

Great, thanks for the help! 175 is of course a lot of money, but if it solves the problem, then it's worth every penny. I'll call the garage first thing in the morning and hope they can fix my Kangoo quickly. And yes, those darn curbs...I'm trying to be careful! Your info was really helpful, thanks again!

Hey, had the same problem with my 2015 Kangoo. I came to the conclusion that the wrong engine oil was in the engine. At the garage they changed the oil, flushed the engine and replaced the oil filter. Apparently, the wrong engine oil can affect the performance of the engine and even cause serious damage if not fixed in time. It's no small matter! It's really important to always use the right engine oil. So, off to the garage mate and get it checked.
