Hey, thanks a lot for your answer and your tips! Now I feel a bit better informed. Do you happen to remember what you ended up having to pay for the repair? And has anything else come up since then or has your car been running perfectly since then? Thanks again for your help!

Hey, no problem, that's what we're here for. I had to fork out €1820 to repair the wastegate valve actuator. It really hurt, but what are you going to do, right? The car only runs well when everything runs smoothly. And since then I've really had peace of mind, no kidding. The functional restriction of the boost pressure control has also been rectified since I was at the mechanic. So since the repair, the car has been running like a champ again. I hope it stays that way. I also hope that you can get going again soon with your Peugeot, man!

Wow, that's pretty expensive... But thanks for the info! At least I now have an idea of what to expect. Honestly, the main thing is that the car runs properly again. Fingers crossed that everything goes well in the workshop. I'm already looking forward to being able to drive again without any worries. Thanks again!

Hi, I can understand how you feel. I had almost the same symptoms with my 2016 Peugeot 3008 diesel. Flashing check engine light, loss of power, engine not running smoothly and problems with acceleration. After some investigations in the workshop, it turned out that the wastegate valve actuator was defective. It was a pretty serious problem as it was severely affecting the proper operation of the engine. The guys in the workshop had to do quite a bit to fix it. They had to remove the old actuator and install a new one. It was quite a bit of work, but when they were done, my car ran like new. So, I would say get it fixed as soon as possible. It's certainly not a small problem that can be ignored. Good luck!
