Since the mechanic fixed the break in terminal 30, my car has been running smoothly again and this problem has not recurred. It's quite a lot of money, but in my opinion it's worth every penny to ensure the entire electrical system and general safety. You can see if you can find a garage that will give you a better price, but don't take it lightly!
