Hey, it's really great that you replied so quickly and that you had such helpful tips ready! It's also reassuring to hear that I'm not alone with my problem. If you can still remember, could you perhaps tell me roughly how much the repair cost you at the time? Many thanks and best regards!

Hey, sure, no problem, that's the beauty of forums like this - you help each other! Regarding your question about the costs, it was quite a chunk, I have to say. The cause was a defective control unit that had sent the wrong signals to the BUS system, which cost me €1000 at the time. Since then, all this fuss with the workshop is over. Good luck with the repair and hopefully you'll soon be back on the road without any problems! Best regards!

There’s a screeching noise that sounds like it’s coming from the left front tyre. Can someone tell me what possible could be wrong. It only stated when I started driving and wasn’t like that earlier today
The screeching noise could be due to a few reasons. It might be a worn-out brake pad, a stuck caliper, or a wheel bearing issue. Start by checking your brake pads for wear. If they're fine, then it might be a more serious issue and I would recommend getting it checked by a professional mechanic as soon as possible, as it could be a safety concern. Please let us know how it goes.
Hello, I can understand this quite well. I own a 2016 Seat Ibiza myself and recently had similar problems with the electronics. My sat nav suddenly failed while I was driving. The mechanic did a complete troubleshooting at the time, which was really not easy to find. But it turned out that, as you suspected, the communication between the individual control units was faulty. This was indeed a serious problem that had to be rectified immediately so as not to jeopardize the safety of the car. Greetings.
