Thanks for your quick response. So it was the wiring system control unit in your case too... it almost seems like my Kuga has similar issues. Can you remember how much the whole thing cost you? And have there been any other problems since then, or has your car been running smoothly ever since? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey, it cost me €1000 to replace the on-board control unit. Since then, my car has actually been running like clockwork again! And as for the problems with the disconnection of terminal 30: they were fixed during my last visit to the mechanic. So, no worries, one time expense and after that it should run fine again. I haven't had any further problems with my car since then. Hope that helps you a little!

That's great to hear, thank you! 1000 doesn't sound bad at first, but if it fixes the problem and the car runs like it did on the first day, then it's definitely worth the money. I'll probably go to the garage and have my on-board control unit checked or replaced. Thanks again for the information and the replacement, that really put my mind at rest! Take care.

Hello, yes, I once experienced this with my 2013 Ford Focus. It turned out that my electrical system control unit was faulty. Sometimes it also produced flickering lights and system errors, just like yours. My mechanic replaced the thing and the problem was solved. I would recommend that you have the same thing done. It wasn't a small fault, but once the wiring control unit was replaced, my car's electrical problems were gone. It sounds very much like you have similar problems. It definitely couldn't hurt to check it out. Good luck, hopefully it all goes smoothly for you!
