Electric Mini Cooper Electrical Malfunction

Alright, so I've got a bit of a head-scratcher with my electric 2023 Mini Cooper. It's got about 17000 km on the clock, and I'm getting a general electrical malfunction warning. The navigation system is completely dead, and there's an error stored in the error memory. From what I can gather, the likely cause is an implausible programming of the control unit. Anyone else run into something like this? Thinking it might be a Vehicle software issue.

Whoa, that sounds rough! I have a Mini Cooper too (not electric, but still). I had something similar happen last year, a whole bunch of electrical stuff just went haywire. Did they say anything about a possible software update? I wonder if it's the same control unit acting up.

Interesting, so what exactly went wrong with yours? Did they mention anything about a software reset or recalibration? And, just curious, what did it end up costing you?

Yeah, mine was a similar story. They never really gave me a straight answer, but it was definitely a software problem. They mentioned something about the control unit needing recalibration. Honestly, I think it's best to just take it to the workshop and let them sort it out. At least you'll have some peace of mind.

Just wanted to let you know I took the car in. Turns out it was indeed a software glitch with the control unit. They performed a software reset and recalibration, and everything seems to be working fine now. Cost me around 240€. Thanks again for sharing your experience, it definitely helped me prepare for the workshop visit!
