Hey, geez, that sounds like quite a mess. I had a similar problem with my Toyota once, but it wasn't as bad as yours. Have you taken care of it yet and taken your Hiace to a mechanic? I wonder how much you paid for the repair? Was it very expensive? It would also be interesting to know if any other problems have occurred since the ECU replacement. Sometimes other surprises turn up after such repairs. Please let me know and good luck with your car!

Hey, yes, the repair cost me a lot of money, but hey, what don't you do for your car, right? I spent €440 on the whole thing to get the faulty control unit for the parking heater back up to scratch. But since I've had the car at the mechanic, the message error between the control units has been successfully rectified, so the investment has really paid off. And so far there have been no other surprise problems (thankfully). However, you should also have your Hiace checked by a specialist as soon as possible, who knows what else is lurking there. All the best for you and your car!

Hey, thanks for the advice and insightful information. Good to hear that your problem has been resolved, even if it was a bit expensive! I've actually taken my Hiace to the garage too and they're having a look at it. I'm praying that the repair won't be too expensive, but the main thing is that the warning lights stop coming on and the car runs as normal again. So far we've never really had any major problems with the car, but I suspect that. Thanks again for your help! Best wishes and have a good trip, guys!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my Toyota Hilux 2011. In my case, it was the control units for the auxiliary heating that were defective. I also had the symptoms such as the engine indicator light and the heat warning light and warning lights in the speedometer. I didn't think it was that serious at first, but the mechanics said it was a really serious problem. They had to completely replace the control units. I can only advise you to get it checked as soon as possible. You shouldn't mess around with things like this, it can have dangerous consequences. So, take the car to the garage and let the professionals take a look at it. Good luck and drive carefully!
