Discussion on Troubleshooting the Navigation System of a 2021 Mazda CX3 Gasoline Model
Navigationssystem is not working

Hey! I appreciate the shared experience, really insightful. No single light popping up on the dash as notice, really. That's kept me on the ropes but your experience with the CAN Bus has given me a solid lead. Funny thing, I had my CX3 at the shop for a regular tune-up not too long ago at 138082 KM. Everything just seemed to go south with the navigation post that visit. But, no major changes other than that. I'll follow your lead and hand the issue over to my trusted mechanic and see what they come up with. Should've thought of him earlier, he's been my go-to for a while now. Fingers crossed it won’t cost an arm and a leg to sort out. Thanks for the swift response. Your experience is really helping to ease off the mystery here. Safe driving to you too!
Hey again! The absence of a warning light definitely adds an extra layer of confusion, doesn't it? I can totally relate to that, my CX3 had me scratching my head for a while too. Especially when all this technology we barely understand starts acting up... a bit like modern-day wizardry, eh? Your recent tune-up timing is interesting, though. There's always a chance something got accidentally jostled or disconnected. Or maybe some delicate electronic component finally gave up the ghost (past their best-by date), you know how these things go sometimes. The trusted mechanic can hopefully shed some light there, like some sort of car detective. The hit-or-miss aspect of costs can indeed be nerve-racking, but let's hope for the best. A couple of hundred Euro certainly wasn’t a fun day for me either, but at least ended with a ride that functioned as it should. Good luck with it! Keep us posted on what your trusty mechanic finds. Hopefully, you’ll be back on the road, with all systems go, in no time. Drive safe!
Oh for sure, half the time I just feel like I'm riding a spaceship with all this tech. The idea of something getting jostled during the tune-up didn't cross my mind but now that you said it, sounds feasible. I've indeed set up an appointment with my mechanic for the day after tomorrow. Let's hope it's something minor and I can get back on the roads quickly, without the dent on the pocket you went through. Seriously your advice and outlook have been a big comfort. I'll update you on what we find out. For now, just gonna cross my fingers and hope my spaceship of a car decides to play nice again soon. Cheers and remember, roads are full of surprises, so always drive safe!
Hey there! I'm by no means an expert, but I actually had a similar problem with my 2021 Mazda CX3. It seemed as though there was some sort of communication glitch. I didn’t mess around too much myself, didn't have the gear, but took it to my go-to workshop. After some diagnostics, they found that the issue was with a damaged CAN Bus. Ended up costing me about 235 Euro to get it all sorted. Could potentially be a similar scenario with your CX3? To offer a more pointed guess, could you share details about any warnings on your car's display or any recent changes before the navigation system went bonkers? Hope this helps. Smooth riding to you!
