Hey, thanks for your quick reply! OK, that's interesting. So it was the compressor in your case? Hm, I wouldn't necessarily have guessed that. Can you still remember what you spent to get it going again? And have there been any other things that have come up since then? Salute!

Hey, no problem, always happy to help! Well, in my case it was different things back then, it was the compressor and it cost me a pretty penny. But since your question, I've sent my car to the mechanic again and this time it was actually the interior temperature sensor. So you were right with your suspicion! The fault was rectified and now everything is running smoothly again. It cost me €150 to mend the sensor, but everything has been fine since then. No more problems with the air conditioning. I hope this helps you! All the best!

Hey, thanks for the info, it was super helpful! At least I now know that there could be various reasons and that it doesn't necessarily have to be the interior temperature sensor. 150 € for the repair of the sensor sounds more feasible, hopefully it's the same with my Leon and not the more expensive compressor. I'll take your advice to heart and have it checked by a professional. Thanks again and I wish you all the best!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my 2012 Seat Ibiza. It all started when the air conditioning only emitted warm air. Turned out to be the compressor that was the problem, not the cabin temperature sensor. It was quite a serious problem because it not only affected the cooling function, but also the general engine behavior. It could be the same for you, but that's just my guess. No doubt it should be checked by a professional. I hope this helps you!
