Hey, that sounds a lot like what my Peugeot is going through right now. I assume cleaning the intake ducts wasn't exactly cheap for you either, was it? Do you remember how much you paid for it? And have there been any other problems since then or was that really the only culprit? Thank you in advance!

Hey, you guessed right, cleaning the intake ducts wasn't exactly a bargain. I paid a total of 425 euros for it. But it was worth it - since the workshop fixed the malfunction of the cruise control, the engine has been running like oil again. In fact, there have been no further problems since then. The whole thing really seems to have been the sticking point. So maybe you can experience an improvement this way too. Good luck, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Hey, that's a lot of money, but if it can solve the problems with my car, then it's worth the money to me. You've really helped me by sharing your experience. So I will let my garage know about your solution and hope they can help me as well as you did. Thanks again for your help! Hopefully everything will go smoothly. Please keep your fingers crossed for me!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my Peugeot 206 Diesel from 07. The engine was also very paralyzing, especially at cold start, and the fuel consumption was high. The main problem was that the intake ducts were heavily contaminated. And yes, it was a serious problem. The garage cleaned the intake ducts and the car has been running great ever since. It wasn't an easy job, but it was necessary. The engine now starts easily and fuel consumption is back to normal. Hopefully my experience will help you. All the best!
