Dealing with Check Engine and Warning Lights Related to Fuel Filler Flap Position Sensor in a 2021 Lexus LC Hybrid

The real culprit, as it turned out at my garage, was a defective fuel filler flap wiring harness. Don't worry though, in my experience, it's not as catastrophic as it sounds. It's a bit frustrating, for sure, but nothing too serious that a good mechanic can't handle. That's what it cost me to get the defective fuel filler flap wiring harness sorted out. So far, "touch wood," there haven't been any more pesky lights flashing on my dashboard. After that fix, the car's been running smoothly. After I got the fuel filler flap position sensor fault sorted by the mechanic, it’s been sweet sailing. Look, don't sweat it too much.
