Audio system is not working

Thanks for sharing your experience! My car is at 8989 KM and just had its service last month. The issue started gradually, first, the audio would occasionally cut out, and then one morning, the whole system just went dead. The system reset trick didn't work for me either. I'll probably take it to the dealer next week since it's still under warranty. I really hope it's just a loose connection like in your case, rather than something more serious!
Hey again! Yeah, those symptoms do sound quite different from what I experienced with my Mokka-e. The gradual failure is actually a bit concerning, in my case, it was just an instant blackout, which made the loose connection diagnosis pretty straightforward. Since you mentioned it started with the audio cutting out intermittently before the complete failure, and it's happening right after a service, I'm wondering if they might have disturbed something during the maintenance. You know how these modern EVs are, everything's so interconnected that touching one thing can affect another. In my case, after that initial fix I mentioned (the loose cable), I haven't had any issues for over a year now. The fact that yours is still under warranty is definitely a plus, make sure they do a thorough check of all connections and the head unit itself. Sometimes these units can fail due to software corruption too. Keep us posted on what the dealer finds! It would be really helpful for other Corsa-e owners to know what's causing these issues. Fingers crossed it's something simple!
Thanks so much for the detailed follow-up! You make a good point about the timing with the recent service, I hadn't even considered that connection. I'll definitely mention this to the dealer when I take it in. The fact that you've had no issues for a year after your fix is really reassuring. I've already booked an appointment for next Tuesday, and I'll make sure they check both the hardware connections and software. I really appreciate your help with this, and I'll update the thread once I know what the actual problem was. It's great to have such helpful feedback from fellow EV owners who've been through similar situations!
Hey there! I have some experience with EVs and went through something very similar with my 2021 Vauxhall Mokka-e last year. The infotainment system just died completely one day. Turned out it was just a loose cable connection behind the head unit. Took it to my regular workshop, and they fixed it in about an hour. Cost me around 155€, mostly labor costs since they had to remove some panels to access the connections. What's the mileage on your Corsa-e? And did this happen suddenly or was it acting up before? This info might help pinpoint if you're dealing with the same issue I had. Before you head to the workshop, you might want to try a full system reset (if you can access it). But honestly, with these electrical issues in EVs, it's usually best to let a pro handle it.
