Emergency system without function

Hey! Thanks for sharing your experience. Your speaker issue sounds a bit like my emergency call glitch. Gutted to hear you had to replace your speaker, but I'm glad your Duster's back on track now. By the way, do you recall how much the speaker replacement ended up costing you? Also, have you come up with any unexpected issues since the repair? Cheers!
Hey! Yeah, the speaker replacement wasn't exactly a steal. It set me back 305€, but it's been smooth sailing since then, thankfully. After that visit to the mechanic, the error in the emergency call system was sorted out, too. Probably those two issues were interlinked or something along those lines. In the end, sound investment, if you ask me. No unexpected hitches since then, fingers crossed! Cheers!
Thanks for the info. It's a bit of a bite in the wallet, but if it gets my Spring back in top shape, I reckon it's worth it. Glad to hear yours has been chugging along fine since the fix. No one wants more unexpected surprises, eh? Anyway, I'll get my electric lady to the garage soon. Fingers crossed, it all goes as smoothly as yours. If anything interesting turns up, I'll give you a buzz. Cheers!
Hey there, Had a similar glitch in my 2019 Dacia Duster, petrol motor though. The entire speaker system was fritzing out big time. None of my calls got through, no sound at all. When I took it to the garage, they discovered the issue was linked to the speaker, just like your system's problem. Ended up being a bit of a serious issue—the speaker was beyond repair so needed replacing. The mechanic explained it could happen due to heavy usage or as a result of troubleshooting other car issues. After the new speaker was installed, my Duster was all good and hasn't acted up since then. Cheers and good luck with yours!
