Hey there, Appreciate your response and sharing your experience! My Lodgy is last serviced at 126803 KM, and hasn't been giving me any trouble until recently. The issues you described with your Duster do seem similar, though I've never had problems with the hoses before. Guess it's time for me to turn into a detective as well and look into that. I hope the repair cost isn't as high as yours considering the mileage and last service. Crossing my fingers and off to my workshop then. Thanks for the tip!

Hey! You're welcome! I know it's stressful when your trusty ride starts giving you trouble. Now, given your mileage and the car model, I'd definitely suggest having those hoses checked out. Also, keep an eye out for any issues with the fuel system. Remember in my case it wasn't just the tank vent valve but the hoses leading to it that caused all the drama! I can't guarantee that your repair cost will be the same, but I think it will be in the ballpark. I hope it's nothing too serious though and your Lodgy will be purring like a kitten again in no time. Good luck with your workshop visit! Keep us posted on how it goes, yeah? Take care.

Hey! I can't thank you enough for those recommendations. It means a lot to have someone who's gone through the same thing share their experience. I'm getting those hoses checked out first thing tomorrow. Also, I'll be sure to keep an eagle eye on the fuel system for any signs of wear and tear. And don't worry, I'll definitely keep you all posted! Fingers crossed it's something minor and we'll be back on the road soon–can't stand this one being on the sidelines. Handle your Duster with care, yeah? Talk soon! Take care yourself cheers!

Hey! That experience rings a bell! I remember having a similar conundrum with my 2018 Dacia Duster. To be frank, my knowledge about cars is somewhat in the middle - I know enough to carry a conversation but I'm no expert. Anyway, the issue turned out to be with the hoses in my ride. I took it to my local workshop where they got a little detective-like, diagnosed the problem and added some hoses. From what I remember, that cost me about €175. Does your Lodgy model have similar specifications to the Duster? Knowing a bit more about your car might help us figure out if it's the same issue. Hope that helps and you get your beast back on the road soon!
