Hey, thanks for your reply and for sharing your experience. That really sounds like a serious problem you had. Now I'm wondering, how much did it cost you to have the control unit replaced? And did you have any additional problems afterwards or was everything okay again? Thanks again!

Hey, I'm glad I could help! So to give you the price straight away, the repair of the control unit cost me a whopping €1000. Yes, that much! But after the visit to the mechanic, the problem with the cruise control not working was fixed. I was pleasantly surprised that there have been no further problems since I had the control unit replaced. Everything is running smoothly again. Hope this helps you. Good luck with your Audi!

Hey, your information really helps me a lot, even if the price is quite shocking... But it's a great bit of reassurance to hear that everything was fine with you afterwards. Well, I guess I have no choice but to go to the mechanic and get it checked out.... well, at least now I know what I can expect. Thanks again for your help, really cool of you! Wish you a good ride!

Hey, I had a similar problem with my Audi A1 2016. It turned out that the control unit was defective. You may have the same thing. They had to replace mine at the last workshop visit. It was a pretty serious problem because the ECU controls so many functions in the car, including cruise control. So yes, it could be that this specific problem stems from that. Hope that helps you out a bit. Have a safe drive!
