Cruise control without function

It's possible that the system update may have reset some settings or caused a compatibility issue with your retrofitted cruise control. You could try disconnecting the battery for about 15 minutes to reset the system, then reconnect it and see if the cruise control works again. If this doesn't help, it might be necessary to have a professional mechanic look at it, especially if it involves the body control module. Please let us know how it goes and if you have any other questions.
How can it be that an update causes a compatibility issue with my retrofitted cruise control?? I only used the adpter for diagnosis and no diagnosis should damage anything in a car electronic! If I had known that this carly adapter can DAMAGE anything in my car by only using the diagnosis tool I would never have used it! The cruise control was installed in a specifically licenced garage 2h away from me and did cost 400€!! There are only a few mechanics in Germany who can do things like that! Who pays for the damage?

Hi, Our Carly Support Team is here to help. Please contact us by clicking on this link and we will get back to you shortly https://support.mycarly.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000444960
They told me that they cannot help me with my problem. It was a prefabricated email after I sent the full form with videos! Your service is unbelievably bad! Fortunately disconnecting the battery worked! If you hadn’t answered me here or disconnecting the battery hadn’t worked I’d have had to go to a mechanic and pay it myself! This was the last time I used your adapter or any abo offered by you! And I will definitely not recommend Carly to anyone and I will write a review on a well known review website!
