The thing is, this faulty brake light switch cable was triggering the cruise control disengage, because the system thought I was constantly braking. Sounds complex, huh? But once you understand the connection, it kinda just makes sense. It was a serious issue, had to sort it out pronto. Guess your Tiida might be facing the same, given the similar symptoms.
