Hey, thanks for the answer! Now I'm a bit relieved that I'm not the only one with this problem. Can you remember how expensive the repair was for you? And have you had any similar problems since then or has everything really been fine? Thank you again for sharing your experience with me!

Hey, no problem, always happy to help! In my case, it was around 1000 euros for the new control unit. Yes, I know, it's not a lot of money, but since then it's really been quiet. The cruise control has been purring like a kitten again since the workshop visit and so far there have been no further problems. I hope it stays that way. I hope it goes just as smoothly for you too!

Wow, 1000 euros, that's a lot of money, but if it solves the problem, then it's probably worth it. I'll give my garage a call and make an appointment. It's good to know that your cruise control is working properly again and that you haven't had any other problems. That gives me hope. Thanks again for sharing your experience and for the help! I hope it goes as smoothly for me as it did for you. Bye!

Hi, I once had a similar problem with my 2015 Audi A3. I also had errors in the memory and the cruise control didn't work either. It turned out that the control unit was defective. It was definitely a serious problem, as my car was practically paralyzed until it was repaired. At my garage, they replaced the control unit and since then everything has been running smoothly again. Hopefully that helps you a bit. Good luck, buddy!
