Thank you, that reassures me a little. Could you perhaps tell me approximately how much it cost to replace the unit? Has anything else come up on the car since then that might indicate that more is to be expected? As you know, it's always good to be prepared when it comes to things like this. Thanks again!

Hey, I paid €355 for the repair and replacement of the tire pressure monitoring system control unit. That wasn't exactly a bargain, but since then at least this error has been rectified and the tire pressure display works perfectly again. I also had no more trouble with the so-called tire pressure sensor signal error, which was history after the workshop visit. Fortunately, so far there have been no signs that anything is wrong. Of course, you can never really be sure, but so far, so good. Hope that helps you a little!

Thank you very much, that's really useful. Admittedly, €355 is a lot of money, but I think it's money well spent if it has fixed the problem and everything has worked perfectly since then. It's also important to me that safety features like the tire pressure sensor work properly. So I'm going to bite the bullet and see if I can get an appointment at the garage quickly. Thanks again for your help, you've really helped me!

Why is my tpms not resetting I have had it serviced and everything is working as it should it says fault on front near side
It's possible that the TPMS sensor in your front near side tire is faulty or the battery in the sensor is dead. You can try to reset the system again, but if the problem persists, I recommend having the sensor checked or replaced by a professional. Please remember that the TPMS is a safety feature, so it's important to have it functioning properly. Let us know how it goes. Do you have any other questions?

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2016 Opel Insignia, also with high mileage. I also found out that the tire pressure monitoring system control unit was defective. Basically, it's not a huge deal, but you should definitely visit a garage soon. The last time I was in the garage, the entire device had to be replaced. It was a bit time-consuming, but everything was fine afterwards. So get it checked and don't worry too much. It's always better to sort things like this out early on before it leads to even bigger problems. And don't worry, garages usually have experience with such cases. Hope this helps you.
