For the complete repair of my diesel particulate filter, i.e. replacing the loaded filter due to high mileage, I had to put €1550 on the table. Of course, that's no mean feat, but believe me, in hindsight it was worth it! Since the mechanic replaced the filter, the car has been running perfectly again.
