Hi guys, I have a strange problem with my Citroen Jumper diesel engine (built in 2016). Smokes black when accelerating, check engine light is on, loss of power, cranky engine, jerking when accelerating, loud hissing and whistling when accelerating, stuttering at idle and shaking when idling. I suspect there may be a problem with the boost pressure system. Does anyone have any experience with this? How did you get this solved at the garage? Any help would be great!

Hi, I had a very similar experience with my Citroen Berlingo 2014 model. Am not a car expert but have had some experience with cars. In my case, it was mechanical damage to the turbocharger that caused these symptoms. I took the car to the garage, they did several tests and finally confirmed that it was the turbocharger. In the end I had to pay 1070 euros to fix the damage. Could you please tell me more about your car - engine size, mileage, etc.? With more information I might be able to help more specifically.

Hey, thanks for your answer. My car has a mileage of 132300 KM. The last service was a few months ago and since then I haven't noticed anything unusual until this problem occurred. I'm not sure what the exact engine size of my Citroen Jumper is, but I know it's a diesel engine. Now I also suspect it could be a problem with the turbocharger.
