Hey, thanks for the tip about the control unit, I wouldn't have guessed that about the C6. Can you remember roughly how much it cost you to replace it? And have you had any other problems in connection with the fault since then? I'd like to know what I need to be prepared for. Thank you!

Hey, of course I remember. The repair of the control unit cost me 475€. But everything has been fine since then, no further faults or problems in connection with it. And the mirror heating has also worked perfectly again since the visit to the mechanic. So don't worry, it's definitely worth it! Good luck, hopefully your C6 will be fit again soon!

That doesn't sound too bad. Thanks for the info! The €475 is not without cost, but if everything works afterwards, it's worth it. Good to know that there were no other problems. I'll make an appointment with the mechanic. Hopefully it will go as smoothly as it did for you. Thanks again for the help!

Hey, I drive a 2003 Citroën C3. Recently had a similar problem and it turned out that the control unit was defective. It had to be completely replaced because no amount of patching would help. My mechanic said that this is a fairly common fault. So take the whole thing seriously. Hope this helps you. Good luck with it!
