Hi, my C3 has done 31209 KM so far and the last service was at the dealer a few months ago. There have been no major repairs since I bought the car, apart from the usual oil change and tire replacement. Your tip about the valves sounds sensible and I guess I'll be taking the car to the garage soon. It's the first time I've had a problem like this so I was unsure. Thanks for the quick reply! LG

Hi, nice to hear from you and thanks for the details. So, your C3, year 2011 with around 31209 km, should indeed not have such problems with the heating/cooling, especially if you have had regular maintenance. What you describe could actually also indicate a problem with the air conditioning lines, the thermostat or even the coolant itself. In any case, I would advise you to take the car to the garage, as it is definitely not normal for the air conditioning to only blow warm air, even when the air conditioning is on. Don't forget to point out the valves and cooling lines to the master mechanic at the workshop, as I said in my first post. It would also be wise to mention to him that the car only blows warm air, even when the A/C is set to full power. Please keep us posted on what happens with your car. I wish you the best of luck and that your problem is solved soon! LG

Hello, thank you very much for the further tips and advice. I will definitely pass on your tips regarding the valves, cooling lines and coolant to the master mechanic. It's really strange that the air conditioning only blows warm air, despite being set to full cooling capacity. I will take the car to the garage and see what they say. It could also be that a thermostat problem or something else is the cause, as you suspected. I will of course keep you posted on how things progress with my C3 and the heating/cooling problem. Thanks again for the help and support. Really great community here! LG

May I ask what the problem was with your C3's A/C? I, for one, am having the same problem. It only blows warm air. The air conditioner has been replaced. So has the temperature sensor. And it shows -40 degrees

Hello Anne, so if the temperature sensor shows -40 degrees then something is wrong with the temperature sensor. As you write that the sensor itself is new, the wiring must be checked. I think it will be possible to find a fault here.

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2009 Citroen C4 some time ago, and to be honest, I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to car repairs. I took it to my garage and it turned out that a defect in individual valves in the air conditioning system had caused the problem. Fortunately, in my case in particular, the repair cost 0 euros as it only required a small adjustment to the valves. Could you perhaps provide more details about your car? How many miles do you already have on it, and have you had any repairs done recently? This info could really help us diagnose the problem more accurately. LG
