I really had to dig deep into my pockets, but believe me, it was worth every penny. As for the problem with the ignition coil or the misfiring - nothing has happened since I had the mechanic look at it. My Citroen is running like a kitten again and no longer shows any of the worrying signs that almost made me despair. The initial investment is really steep, but bear in mind that you'll also save a lot on fuel costs in the long run when your car is running smoothly again.
