Of course I remember the cost, it was quite a lot of money. I had to fork out €355 to get the broken window regulator control unit working again. But since the visit to the workshop, everything has been running smoothly. The window regulator malfunction has been fixed permanently, and that's the most important thing. So far, at least, no other problems have arisen that could be related in any way. Keep your fingers crossed that everything goes just as smoothly for you!

Oh man, 355€! That's really a mouthful. But if that's the only solution to the problem, there's probably no other way. I definitely want to avoid any further complications. So, thank you for the helpful tips and information! I also hope that everything goes smoothly for me. Another hard lesson that you shouldn't trust the cheapest provider. Thanks again and have a good trip, buddy!

Hi buddy, I had something like that with my Citroen C5 (gasoline, year of manufacture 2010, 105,000KM). You're right, that sounds a lot like a defective window regulator control unit. It was exactly the same for me. The windows wouldn't go up or down. The workshop then replaced the switching relay and the control unit. After the repair, everything worked perfectly again. So I would advise you to take it straight to a good specialist workshop. The electrical parts are complex and if they don't work properly, this can cause serious problems that can then spread to other areas. It's better to have it checked by professionals. Hope this helps you!
