Citigo Washer System Problem

My 2016 Skoda Citigo with a gasoline engine is giving me grief. The headlight cleaning system has stopped working, and now I've noticed the windshield washer isn't spraying either. The car has about 196276 km on it. I'm thinking it might be a clog somewhere in the system or maybe a hose malfunction, but I'm not sure where to start looking. I read somewhere that a defective cable connection of the pump or relay could also be the cause. Any ideas?

Sounds like a blockage or electrical issue. Does the windshield washer pump make any noise when you try to use it? Check the fuse for the washer system too. A blown fuse could cause both systems to fail.

The pump is silent. Where exactly is the fuse located? Is there a separate fuse for the headlight cleaning system?

If the pump is silent, and the windshield washer isn't working either, then a fuse is most likely. You will find your fuse box behind a small plastic cover, usually near the steering wheel. A diagram indicating the correct fuse for the washer system will be there. If the fuse is fine, and the pump is still silent, then it's likely a bad electrical connection or a faulty pump, either of which requires diagnostic tools and could be tricky to fix yourself. Probably best to get it checked at a workshop.

I took it to a local garage. They confirmed a bad connection on the pump. Repair ended up costing 165€ including parts and labor. Everything is working again! Thanks for the input.
