Chassis and damper vibration problems with Opel Movano year 2014

Uneven Ride Height

Excessive Bouncing

Hi guys, I need your opinion. I drive an Opel Movano, diesel, year 2014 with around 140,000 km on the clock and there are problems with the chassis height and extreme damper vibrations. Has anyone had similar experiences, possibly with the ride height control function? I've been to a mechanic once and it wasn't the yellow of the egg. So, what was your experience with such symptoms and your mechanic? Thanks in advance and best regards.

Hi buddy, I can understand you, I also had problems with my control unit once. My car is an Opel Insignia, diesel, built in 2016. I noticed that something was wrong when the ride height and dampers were no longer running smoothly, similar to your situation. The last time at the workshop, it was found that the control unit was faulty. It seems to be a more serious problem because the correct functioning of your car depends heavily on it. The repair took a few days, they had to remove the faulty ECU, install the new one and then reprogram the whole system. I would recommend you get this checked as soon as possible before it causes further problems. Fortunately, my mechanic was able to solve the problem relatively quickly and effectively. Hope that helps you. All the best, buddy!

Hello, thanks for the quick reply! So it seems that the control unit and the ride height control could indeed be causing problems. I would also like to know how much the whole thing cost you, if you can remember? And have you had any other problems since the repair? Many thanks and best regards!

Hey, no problem, you're welcome! So, the repair to the control unit actually cost me €1000. Since I've had the car at the mechanic, the problem with the ride height control has been fixed and so far there have been no other problems. I hope this helps you! Greetings!

Hey, thanks a lot, that really helps! 1000 € is expensive, but it's reassuring to know that no further problems have occurred since then. I will certainly visit my mechanic in the near future to check the control unit. Thanks again for your help and best wishes!
