Thanks for sharing your experience! My mileage is at 20051 KM and I had my last service about 3 months ago. Not hearing any weird noises when the AC is running, it just feels like it's struggling to cool down. The air flow seems normal, just not cold enough. Good to know it might just be a refrigerant issue, that would definitely be better than a compressor problem! I'll get it checked at the dealer and hopefully it's something simple like in your case.

Hey again! Yeah, those symptoms do sound really similar to what I experienced. Since your mileage is pretty low and you had a recent service, I'm even more convinced it might just be a refrigerant issue like mine was. The lack of unusual noises is actually a good sign, when my compressor eventually did fail in another car years ago, it made this awful grinding noise that you couldn't miss! Just to share a bit more about my experience with the Panamera, after they fixed that initial refrigerant leak, I've had zero issues with the AC for about 2 years now. The dealer showed me that they also did a dye test to find the leak, which might be worth asking about in your case. It helps them spot exactly where the refrigerant is escaping. Quick tip: when you take it to the dealer, ask them to check the service records from your last visit. Sometimes these issues can be related to recent work done on the car. In my case, they found that a seal wasn't properly tightened during a previous service, which caused the slow leak. Keep me posted on what they find! Fingers crossed it's just a simple fix like mine was. Best, Alex.

Thanks so much, Alex! Really appreciate all the detailed info and tips. That's super helpful about the dye test, I'll definitely ask about that when I take it in. Good point about checking the service records too, I hadn't thought about that connection. You've actually made me feel a lot better about this whole situation, especially since your symptoms were so similar and it turned out to be a simple fix. I'll make an appointment with the dealer tomorrow and mention everything you've suggested. Will update you once I know what's going on with my Cayenne. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience, it's been really helpful!

Hey there! I had a similar issue with my 2016 Panamera Hybrid (love Porsche hybrids!). The symptoms were exactly the same, warm air and poor cooling. I've got some experience working with cars, but I usually leave AC work to the pros. Turned out it was just low on refrigerant, completely empty actually. Got it fixed at the dealership under warranty since they found a small leak in the system. The fix was totally free, thankfully! They recharged the system and sealed the leak. Before I can offer more specific advice, could you tell me if you're hearing any unusual noises when the AC is running? Also, has your car been serviced recently? These details would help narrow down if you're dealing with the same issue I had. Best, Alex
