Brake Light Signal Implausible" Issue in 2017 Kia Bongo: Seeking Advice and Tips

Hey I get your worry. Had the exact same blip with my 2014 Kia Optima a while back. Crazy coincidence, or just a Kia ghost in the machines, huh? Anyway, my brake light was playing dead too. Kept giving the same "Brake light signal implausible" error message. Took it to my local mechanic, and he figured out pretty quick it was a defective brake light switch. You know, the one that's supposed to tell your brake light to come on when you stomp on the pedal. Apparently, this is not a crazy rare issue, especially with Kia. So, might be the same deal with your Bongo. Worth checking out before you pull out all the wires or something. Keep in mind though, it wasn't exactly a minor problem. Hey! Ha, so we're all on the same ghost busting mission, eh? Fun times with our Kias! To answer your question, though, you'd be surprised. I luckily didn't have to shell out a cent for the fix. Turned out it was just a personal error and my local mechanic is a decent guy so no charges for something that wasn't exactly a repair, more of a mishap resolution, eh? And as far as anything else going wrong since then, nope, nada. Since getting the Brake light signal implausible sorted out, my Kia's been running smooth.
