BMW M2 Warning Light Storm: Multiple Codes Puzzle

Thanks for the reply! Mine's at 188806 KM and just had its last service about 2 months ago. The warnings all popped up at once while I was driving on the highway. Haven't made any electrical mods or upgrades to the car. Actually, everything was running perfectly fine until yesterday. I haven't checked the battery voltage yet, that's a good suggestion. Did your warning lights also include the traction control and ABS lights? Those are among the ones I'm seeing. Hoping it's something as straightforward as a battery issue and not something more serious with the electrical system. Let me know if you think I should try checking the battery first before heading to the service center. I've got a multimeter somewhere in the garage.
Hey again! Yeah, my situation was really similar to what you're describing. I definitely had those exact same warning lights, the traction control and ABS lights were part of the show, along with a few others. It's actually pretty typical for BMWs to throw multiple warnings when there's an electrical issue. Since you've got a multimeter, I'd definitely check the battery voltage before taking it to the shop. That's exactly what I did with mine. You'll want to see around 12.6V when the engine's off and between 13.7-14.7V when it's running. Mine was only showing about 11.8V when off, which was a clear red flag. The fact that all your warnings came on suddenly while highway driving matches my experience too. It's kind of a BMW thing, when the voltage drops below a certain threshold, the car goes into a sort of safety mode and lights up like a Christmas tree. One quick thing you can try: disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for about 15 minutes, then reconnect it. This helped temporarily clear some codes on mine before I got the battery replaced. Just keep in mind you'll need to reset your clock and radio presets afterward. Let me know what voltage readings you get. If they're low, you might be looking at a similar fix to what I needed. The battery replacement solved all my warning light issues, and I haven't had any problems since.
Thanks everyone for the helpful replies! I just checked the battery voltage as suggested, and you were right, it's showing 11.9V when off. That's definitely lower than it should be. I went ahead and tried the battery terminal disconnect trick too, and while it cleared the lights temporarily, they came back after about an hour of driving. I've booked the car in at my usual service place for tomorrow morning. Really hoping it's just the battery and nothing more complex. Will make sure to ask them to do a full electrical system check while they're at it, just to be on the safe side. Thanks again for sharing your experience, it's helped me feel a lot more confident about what might be going on. I'll update once I get it sorted out!
Hey there! I had a similar issue with my 2019 BMW M4 last year. I've got some experience working on cars, but electrical gremlins like this are always tricky. Multiple warning lights popped up on mine too, and it turned out to be an undervoltage problem. My mechanic found that the battery wasn't holding charge properly, causing voltage fluctuations throughout the electrical system. The fix cost me around 240 Euro, including diagnostics and repairs. Before we dig deeper, could you share: Have you checked the battery voltage? Did these warnings appear gradually or all at once? Any recent electrical upgrades or installations? This could help pinpoint if you're dealing with the same issue I had. BMWs can be sensitive to electrical problems, but usually, they're fixable without too much drama once you identify the root cause.
