Thanks for the quick response! The problem started about a week ago, completely out of the blue. When I press the washer control, I don't hear any pump sound at all, which is what's most concerning. No leaks visible under the car either. Just had my last service at 50,000 KM and everything was fine then. I hoped it might be something simple like your sensor issue, but I'm worried it could be the pump itself since there's zero response. Good to know these things can sometimes be minor fixes though! Will be taking it to the dealer next week, just wanted to get an idea of what I might be dealing with.

Hey again! Thanks for those extra details about your iX3. You know what? Now that you mention there's no pump sound at all, it does sound different from what I experienced with my i4. I actually had a pump failure on my old 3 series years ago, and it had exactly those symptoms, no sound, no action, nothing. The pump just died completely. But here's the good news, it wasn't as expensive or complicated as I initially feared. The mechanic just had to replace the pump unit, and it was a pretty straightforward fix. Since you mentioned taking it to the dealer next week, that's probably your best bet. They'll be able to properly diagnose if it's actually the pump or maybe something electrical. When they fixed my pump issue back then, I was in and out in about an hour. One thing though, since your car is a 2022 model, this should definitely be covered under warranty, so you shouldn't have to worry about the cost. Much better than my situation where I had to pay for the replacement! Keep us posted about what they find. I'm really curious to know if it turns out to be the pump like I suspect. These EVs might be different in many ways, but some components like washer pumps are pretty similar across the board.

Thanks for that really helpful info! I feel a lot better knowing that even if it is a pump failure, it's not some massive complicated job. You're absolutely right about the warranty, I actually just checked and I've still got plenty of coverage left since it's only about 18 months old. Really appreciate you sharing your experience with both the sensor issue and the pump failure. It's given me a much better idea of what to expect when I take it in next week. I'll definitely update the thread once I find out what the actual problem is. These kinds of discussions are super helpful for other iX3 owners who might run into similar issues down the line. Thanks again for taking the time to help out! It's always great to get input from other BMW EV owners who've dealt with similar stuff.

Hey there! I have some experience with BMWs, and funny enough, I had a similar issue with my 2020 BMW i4 last month. I also own a BMW iX, so I'm quite familiar with their EVs. First off, could you share if you're hearing any sounds when you try to activate the washers? Also, have you noticed any leaks underneath the car? In my case, the sensor was acting up, showing low fluid despite having a full tank. Took it to my regular workshop, and it turned out to be just a dirty sensor connection. They cleaned it up, and I was back on the road in no time. Only cost me 25 Euro for the service. But these cars can be tricky, sometimes what seems like a simple sensor issue could be something else. Could you also mention if this started suddenly or developed gradually? That might help narrow down the cause. I'd be happy to share more specific details once I know more about your situation.
