BMW iX1 Washer Fluid System Failure: Causes & Solutions

Hey there! I've got some experience with EVs (low experience). Had a similar issue with my 2020 BMW iX3 last winter. The washer fluid warning kept popping up even though the tank was full. Turned out the sensor was acting up and needed a good cleaning. Took it to my regular workshop, super quick fix. They cleaned the sensor contacts and topped up with fresh washer fluid, just to be safe. Only paid 25 Euro for the whole thing. Before you head to a shop though, what's the exact error message you're getting? Also, can you hear the pump trying to work when you activate the washers?
