BMW 740d Boost Issues: Turbo System Troubleshooting Tips

At first, I barely noticed it, just a slight drop in power that I honestly thought was just in my head. But over about 3-4 weeks, it got progressively worse. Fuel consumption went up gradually too, probably didn't notice it until I was using about 15% more fuel than usual. Since you mentioned you're at 197K km, that's actually pretty similar to when mine started acting up (I was around 185K). After getting it fixed, I've put another 40K on the clock with zero boost issues.
