BMW 7 Series: Check Engine Light and Hybrid System Malfunction

Check engine light on

Unsteady engine

I have a BMW 7 series with a check engine light on, unsteady engine, and ignition issues. Upon delivery, my CARLY diagnostic tool found many errors, but the dealer claimed there were none. Could the dealer be misleading me? Additionally, the engine wouldn't start due to a hybrid system malfunction. The dealer stated this issue was fixed at 75,000 km. Is it possible for a previously repaired error to reoccur? Lastly, I managed to drive 10,000 km after the hybrid system malfunction error appeared. Does this mean the error wasn't critical? I would appreciate any insights or advice.

It's possible for previously repaired issues to reoccur, especially if the root cause wasn't fully addressed. For the check engine light and unsteady engine, start by checking for any loose or damaged connections in the ignition system, such as spark plugs or ignition coils. If the hybrid system malfunction persists, it could indicate a deeper issue that needs professional attention. It's important to address these issues promptly, as they can affect vehicle safety and performance. Please update on your findings or if you have further questions.
