BMW 5 will not start after being stopped for 6 months

Hi all, I have a 2014 BMW 5 Series with 140,000 km on it and I am running into a problem. The car hasn't been started for 6 months and now it won't start, even after trying to run power to it. Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any ideas what could be causing this problem? I would appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to proceed. thanks in advance!
