BMW 1 Series Audio & Nav System Failure: MOST Bus Issue?

Hi there! I have some experience with BMWs and actually dealt with a very similar issue on my 2017 BMW 2 Series last year. The symptoms were exactly like yours, complete failure of the audio and nav system. After taking it to my trusted workshop, they diagnosed a faulty control unit in the MOST bus system. About your question, unfortunately, my car was completely without any audio or entertainment functions while waiting for the replacement unit. No radio, no nothing.
