Hi folks! In my 2011 Skoda Yeti with a petrol engine and 157,370 km on the clock, the fan is causing annoying problems. I think it could be the air conditioning control unit. Have any of you ever had similar problems? What have you done, any trouble with the mechanic? I haven't had a good experience recently. Thanks in advance!

Hey, I have a 2014 Skoda Rapid and had similar problems with the fan. In my case it was actually the air conditioning control unit, which turned out not to be a serious problem. Had to go to the workshop recently and the part was completely replaced. No trouble with the mechanic, everything went smoothly. Hope that helps you.

Hi, thanks for your quick reply! Good to know I'm not the only one with problems like this. Do you happen to remember what you paid for the repair? And has there been anything new since then or is everything running smoothly?

Hey, that really wasn't a problem. The repair cost me €210. The problem was a fault in the cable connection. Since the visit to my mechanic, however, the problem with the defective air conditioning control unit has been resolved and everything is running as it should again.

Hi, thanks for your helpful information! I'll probably make an appointment at the workshop now and hope that they can fix it as well as you did. Thanks again for your help!
