Hey, thanks for your reply! That does sound a lot like my problem with my Peugeot Traveller. You mentioned that you had the problem solved at the garage. Do you remember how much that cost you? And have any other problems arisen since then or has your car been running smoothly ever since? Thank you in advance!

Hey, no problem. The repair cost me a total of €1520, most of which went on fixing the electrical fault in the boost pressure regulator. Since I got the car from the mechanic, everything has been running like clockwork. As far as I can tell, the position sensor for the boost pressure control is now faultless. However, I was quite shocked when I saw the bill - it's not a small investment. But it's better than buying a new car, isn't it? Since then, no new problems have arisen and the car runs smoothly. I hope this helps you with your decision. Good luck!

Wow, 1520€ is not exactly a small amount, but you're right, it's better than buying a new car. Your information has really helped me. I will now take the car to the garage and have the sensor checked. Thanks for your help and the information! I hope that the repair will get my Peugeot running smoothly again. Keep your fingers crossed!

Hey, coincidentally I had a similar problem with my 2016 Peugeot Boxer diesel. Mine had a problem with the boost pressure actuator electric, which sounds like your problem. At the last workshop visit the guys changed the sensor and some other parts and it had helped. The problem was solved, but it really took longer than I thought, as the thing really took half an eternity to dismantle. It's not an easy job, I'll tell you that. I would definitely get a mech to do it, but pick one that knows their job. Hope that helps you. Good luck!
