Hey, thanks for your reply! Interesting that you had a similar problem. Do you happen to remember what you had to pay for it? And did anything else pop up afterwards or has your Auris been running smoothly since the repair? I would be very happy to hear your feedback! Greetings!

Hey, sure, I still remember the repair costs, which were around €95 for repairing the damage in the wiring harness. Since then, my Auris has been running like clockwork again. During the last inspection by the mechanic, the defect in the mass air flow sensor was also repaired, and since then it has no longer shown any strange symptoms. So, after the repair, everything has really cleared up, no more unexpected surprises! Hope that helps you! Stay tuned and let me know how it goes for you! Greetings!

Hey, thanks for the info! That really reassures me that your Auris is running without any problems after the repair. I could get over the €100 or so. Your experience really makes me feel better about my upcoming visit to the garage. I will of course keep you posted on how things go for me. Thanks again and take good care of yourself! Greetings!

Hi mate, I had a similar problem with my 2010 Toyota Auris, and it was actually damage to the wiring harness. The engine was also running rough, similar to yours, and showed the same symptoms. It turned out that some cables had come loose and this led to the problems I mentioned. When I took it to the garage, they told me it wasn't a huge deal, but important work that needed to be done. So they correctly identified the damage in the wiring loom and repaired it accordingly. So it wasn't a drama, but something that needed to be fixed. Hope that helps and puts your mind at ease. Happy screwing and keep us up to date!
