Hey, you're welcome! So, replacing the fuel pump cost me around €45. It was an error entry after changing the fuel filter. But hey, since then the problem with the fuel injection pressure - which deviated from the set value - has been fixed! Since then the Auris has been running like clockwork, no further problems or abnormalities. So, don't worry, your Yaris is certainly in good hands at a good garage.

That reassures me, thank you! 45€ doesn't sound cheap at first, but if it helps to solve the problem, then it's definitely worth it. Good to hear that your Auris hasn't had any further problems since then. I think I'll contact my garage now and get it checked out. Your experience has really helped me. Thank you very much for your help!

Hello, I recently had a similar problem with my 2017 Toyota Auris. There was an error entry after changing the fuel filter. Your description reminds me a lot of it, especially the jerking when accelerating and the increased fuel consumption. It turned out that the fault was caused by a defective electric fuel pump. The pump could no longer build up the correct pressure, which caused the check engine light and the rough running. The solution was to replace the pump, which the mechanics in the workshop did. After that, the car ran perfectly again. So I would recommend you take the car to a garage as soon as possible and have the fuel pump checked. That sounds like a very serious problem. Hope this helps you!
