Some time ago, I therefore went to my regular garage. The guys took the car onto the lift and diagnosed the fault pretty quickly. A thorough check and an OBD scan showed us that one of the lambda sensors was reporting the wrong values to the control unit. As a result, my car was consuming more fuel and the engine was no longer running optimally. In any case, the defective sensor had to be replaced. They unscrewed the old sensor and put the new one in. I then had to have a software update done to make sure that the control unit recognizes the correct values again. So my tip to you would be: take your car to a garage and have the lambda sensors checked. This is no small matter and should not be put off until later. Good luck with that!
