Hello Benny,
The problem could be with a faulty iDrive, blown fuse, Bluetooth module failure, low battery, or outdated software. Start by rebooting the system (hold the volume button for 20–30 seconds), checking fuses, and ensuring the battery is in good condition. If the screen remains black and connectivity issues persist, disconnect and reconnect the battery to reset the system. If unresolved, a software update or hardware repair (e.g., iDrive or Bluetooth module replacement) might be necessary. Visit a BMW service center for diagnostics if these steps don’t help. Please let us know how it goes at the workshop and if you have any further questions.
It sounds like you're dealing with a complex issue that could be related to several different components of your car's electronics. I would recommend starting with the simplest potential solution: a system reboot. You can do this by holding down the volume button on your car's stereo for about 25 seconds. If this doesn't resolve the issue, it might be worth checking the fuses related to your car's audio and navigation systems. If these steps don't help, it might be necessary to take your car to a professional for a more thorough diagnosis. Please keep us updated on your progress and don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions.
@Christiaan
me aux doesn't work because i have a schrem with android car but the sound has to go through aux but i can't turn up the aux and takes the aux but can't do anything with it pls help
Check if the AUX cable is securely connected to both your Android car screen and the car's AUX input. Ensure the AUX input is selected as the audio source on your car's system. If the issue persists, try using a different AUX cable to rule out a faulty cable. If the problem continues, there might be an issue with the AUX port itself, and it would be advisable to have it inspected by a professional. Let me know if you need further assistance or if you have any updates.
