Audi TT Oil Light Issue and White Smoke Emission

Oil light on

Hello everyone, I'm David Hamilton and I'm currently experiencing an issue with my Audi TT. The low oil pressure warning light has been coming on, although it turns off almost immediately. Today, my car emitted a large plume of white smoke, but continued to drive normally. I've already ordered a new oil and filter, as well as a new oil pressure switch. Does anyone have any additional suggestions or advice on what might be causing these issues and how to fix them? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Start by checking the oil level to ensure it's not low, as this can trigger the low oil pressure warning. If the level is fine, inspect for any oil leaks around the engine. If the issue persists after replacing the oil, filter, and pressure switch, it might be wise to have a mechanic inspect the oil pump and engine for further issues.
