Hey, so after the repair, my Audi A6 works like clockwork. The faulty function of the transmission oil pressure sensor was corrected and I haven't had any further problems since. In terms of the cost, I had to fork out around €95 because the cable/plug on the sensor was empty. Sure, it wasn't cheap, but it was worth it. If you have any more questions, let me know!

Great, thanks for your help. Your experience takes away some of my worries. 95 doesn't sound too bad when I consider that it could work again. I will take my Audi to the workshop as soon as possible. Hopefully it really is just the sensor and no other damage has occurred. Thanks again for your advice!

Hey, I can understand your concerns. I recently had similar symptoms with my 2017 Audi A6. The unpleasant noise when changing gear and the warning message in the speedometer quickly made me realize that something was wrong. At the garage, they then determined that it was actually the transmission oil pressure sensor that had given up the ghost. It was pretty critical, because if you don't notice the problem in time, it can lead to major damage. After the repair, however, my car ran perfectly again. Hope that helps you a bit.
