Hello and thank you for your answer! Well, my Audi already has 198765 km on the clock and the last service was recently. I have exactly the same suspicion about the fuel pump, but I haven't yet considered having the software values checked. Could be a really cheap solution if that's the problem. I guess I'll take it up with my garage. Thanks for the tip!

Hey, no problem, I'm happy to help! Yes, it could definitely be a problem with the software values, especially if your A4 has already run so many kilometers. Sometimes these values can get out of line over time, which can lead to the pump not working as it should. When my garage fixed this on my A5, the car ran perfectly again afterwards. So it might be a really good idea to have it checked. Hopefully you'll get it sorted soon, good luck!

Hey, that really means a lot to me, thanks! It sounds a lot like the problem I'm having. I'll definitely ask my garage and mention your solution. It's great to get such helpful tips from people who have had the same experience. Hopefully it can be solved just as easily for me. Thanks again!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2011 Audi A5 diesel. Although I have little experience with cars, I can tell you that it could probably be the software values for the fuel pump. My garage mechanic identified this exact fault for me and fixed it for just 45 euros. To help you more accurately, could you provide more information about your car? How many kilometers has it run and when was the last time you had it serviced?
