Thanks for sharing those details. Had exactly the same voltage drop issues with my A4 last winter. The auxiliary battery replacement fixed everything, and all those unusual electrical glitches disappeared completely. Quick question, would you mind sharing how much the complete fix cost you? Just wondering if prices have changed much since I had mine done. Also, has everything been running smoothly since the repair, or have you noticed any new car electronics issues popping up? Makes sense to keep track of these low voltage problems, as they seem pretty common in our models.

The auxiliary battery malfunction repair was completed successfully for 290 Euro, including the electronic system reset. Been running perfect ever since the battery replacement with zero voltage drop issues. The car electronics are now working flawlessly, no more warning lights or system errors appearing on startup. This fix took care of all those erratic electrical glitches that were showing up. The engine start sequence is much smoother now, and the auxiliary power systems are functioning as designed. No new issues have emerged in the months following the repair. Regular voltage testing suggests everything is maintaining proper charge levels. The investment in proper diagnostics and battery replacement was worth it to resolve all those low voltage problems that kept appearing. The price seems pretty standard for this type of specialized repair, considering it involves both parts and reprogramming. The proper auxiliary battery restoration really does make a huge difference in these models system stability.

Thanks for the advice. Finally went ahead and got it fixed last week. The whole power management system needed attention, but the mechanic did a great job sorting it out. The total repair came to 310 Euro including a new auxiliary battery and full system reset. They found the old battery was completely dead, causing all those car electronics glitches. The voltage drop issues during startup are gone now, and all dashboard errors have cleared up. Interesting thing, the technician showed me how the battery failure was affecting way more systems than I thought. The diagnostic scan revealed problems in areas I hadnt even noticed. After the battery replacement and recalibration, everything is running perfectly. Really glad I got this sorted before winter. No more worrying about those unusual electrical issues or startup problems. Thanks again for helping point me in the right direction with this.

I faced similar battery malfunction symptoms in my 2010 Audi A5. The voltage drop during startup and electrical warnings were almost identical. Initial checks suggested the main battery was functional, but the car electronics showed multiple system errors. The auxiliary battery failure was indeed the root cause. This secondary battery supports various electronic systems, and when it degrades, it creates cascading issues across multiple components. During diagnosis, technicians found that low voltage in the auxiliary system was affecting the stability control unit and comfort electronics. The repair involved: Full electronic system diagnostic scan, Testing both batteries under load, Replacing the auxiliary battery, Resetting all electronic control units, Recalibrating the power management system The job was serious as it required specialized diagnostic equipment to properly reset all systems. Various electronic modules needed reprogramming after the battery replacement to ensure proper communication between components. A failing auxiliary battery often masks itself as multiple unrelated issues, making proper diagnosis crucial. The car electronics can show misleading error codes when the auxiliary power supply is compromised. Regular voltage testing of both batteries during maintenance helps prevent unexpected engine start problems.
