Hey, thanks for your feedback. Sounds pretty much identical to my problem now. How long did it take to replace the control unit and, more importantly, how much did you have to pay for it? Were there any problems after the repair or can you say that's it and your car has been running smoothly ever since?

So, after I went to my mechanic, the fault on the Flex-Ray bus was rectified. It took a while, but since then everything has been running smoothly again. As for the cost of repairing the control unit, it cost me a good €1000. But I haven't really had any more problems with the car since then, so it was worth the investment. Don't worry, your little darling will soon be back on the road again!

Well, that reassures me a little, thank you. 1000€ is a lot of money, but if I can solve the problem in the long term and rely on my car again, then it's a worthwhile investment. I'll now make an appointment with the mechanic and hope that it will run smoothly again. Thanks again for your time and advice!

Hi mate, I had a similar problem with my Opel Insignia 2019. My entire control unit was faulty. The sat nav was displaying weird things and the warning light was also flashing. My car's fault memory finally identified the control unit as the problem. It was quite annoying, but after the mechanic replaced the ECU, everything worked great again. I know how worrying this can be, but don't be discouraged. I'm telling you, once your car is fixed, you'll feel so much better!
