Hey, thanks for your reply! Well, my Golf is otherwise running perfectly and has 231489 km on it, the only problem is this airbag warning light. I've got the MOT coming up again soon, so unfortunately that's not going to happen. I hope this helps to narrow down the problem. Do you have any other tips that could help me?

Hi, I also had a problem with my 2012 Golf. In my case, it was a problem with the airbag control unit. If there's a problem there, the warning light may come on. At my garage, they first read out the control unit. The repair wasn't that expensive at €200. Apparently it was enough to reset the control unit. But it could also be something more complicated, e.g. a loose contact or a faulty connection in the system, or in the worst case a control unit error.

Side storage bag for passenger seats is displayed as an error. How can this be rectified?
The error message could be due to a faulty sensor or a loose connection. Start by checking the wiring under the passenger seat for any loose connections or visible damage. If everything seems fine, the issue might be with the sensor itself. In this case, I would recommend taking your car to a professional mechanic for a proper diagnosis. Please update us on your progress. Do you have any other questions?

Hello I have had this error for some time when reading out what can it be? The car is a sharan 7n from 2012.

Front Airbag Igniter (N95) Driver side
Resistance too high
This error code indicates a high resistance issue in the driver's side front airbag igniter circuit. Start by checking the wiring and connectors related to the driver's airbag for any loose connections, corrosion, or damage. If the wiring appears intact, the issue might be with the airbag igniter itself or the clock spring. It's crucial to address this promptly as it involves the airbag system, which is a safety component. Consider having a professional mechanic inspect and repair it to ensure your safety. Let us know how it goes or if you have further questions.
@Kikiki
I have the airbarg light on, momeras to turn it off (permanent light).
If the airbag light is on, it usually indicates a fault in the airbag system. Start by checking the seat belt connectors under the seats for any loose or disconnected wires, as these can sometimes trigger the light. If the connectors are secure, the issue might be more complex, such as a sensor or control module fault. It's important to have this checked by a professional mechanic to ensure the airbag system functions correctly, as it is a critical safety feature. Please update us on your findings or if you have more questions.
Hey, I've had the same problem with my Golf (2008). The repair only cost €100 at the time, but I can't remember exactly what caused it.
