Hey, thanks for the reply! Interesting about the thermostat, that could really be a possibility. Do you happen to remember what you had to pay for the repair? And have there been any other problems since the replacement? Would love to know what I should be prepared for... Thank you!

Hey, I'm glad my answer was able to help you! Yes, the thermostat was a surprise, but since the visit to the mechanic, the error message for the electric auxiliary heater and the climate control system has disappeared. So far, everything is running smoothly again. As for the costs: I had to pay €155.00 to repair the defective cable connection for the electric auxiliary heater. That's quite a lot of money, but now everything is working again. I hope you have the same luck with your car!

Hey, thanks for all the information, that really helps me! 155 may sound like a lot at first, but if it works again afterwards, it's worth it. It's good to hear that everything is back to normal for you. I hope I have the same luck and it's nothing worse... Off to the mechanic next week. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Thanks again!

Hello, I'm having issues with the air conditioning in my Audi A5 2015, which has 96,477 km. The system isn't cooling properly. What could be causing this problem, and how can I fix it? Any advice or recommendations for troubleshooting and repairs would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
The issue could be due to a variety of reasons such as a refrigerant leak, a clogged condenser, or a faulty compressor. However, the simplest thing to check first is the refrigerant level. If it's low, the system won't cool effectively. You can buy a recharge kit from an auto parts store and follow the instructions to refill it. If this doesn't solve the problem, I recommend taking your car to a mechanic for a more thorough inspection.
Hey, I drive a 2015 Audi A3 and recently had a very similar problem. On my car, it was the thermostat that was faulty. No fun, let me tell you. The reason was a problem with the air conditioning. I took my car to the mechanic, who had a thorough look at it and replaced the thermostat. Since then, the heating/air conditioning has been running perfectly again. So I would suggest you get your car checked out. Good luck, hopefully it's not that serious for you!
