Hey! Thank you for sharing your experience, that’s really helpful. Sounds like I'm on the right path with this engine mount suspicion. It's a relief to know your LX is doing fine now. If you don't mind me asking, do you remember roughly how much you ended up shelling out for the repair? Also, have you encountered any other issues with your Lexus since getting that sorted? Keep it easy!

Hey! Yeah no worries happy to help out. For the cable/connector work, it cost me around 165€. It's sorted now though and running smooth. Ever since the bloke down at the garage sorted out the engine mount issue, it's been pretty much smooth sailing, no other big issues to report. As a heads-up, once it's fixed don't forget to keep an eye on it - just in case. All the best fixing up your Lexus, and don't hesitate to hit me up if you have any more questions. Keep it rolling! Cheers!

I'll definitely keep your offer in mind if I have future concerns. Stay cool and cheers for the help!

Hey there, Totally understand what you're going through. I have a 2015 Lexus LX and ran into a similar situation a while back. Engine vibrations had me thinking there was something seriously wrong. Turned out you're on the right track suspecting it's about the engine mount. The mechanic found that the cable/connector at the engine mount was defective in my case. It wasn't a vacuum controlled type though. Big deal? Well, yeah. It was affecting the drivability and could have led to bigger issues over time if ignored. The mechanic worked on replacing the cable/connector and ensuring connections were properly seated after that. Honestly, it was a sigh of relief once finished. I'd say get yours checked asap. Don't let a bad past experience with a mechanic prevent you from sorting this out. Just be sure you find a reliable one this time, eh? Take it easy!
